Martina Brostrom is the former Senior Advisor, at the United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS. For more than a decade she has provided advise and technical support to countries in the scale-up of their HIV responses. She led UNAIDS work on HIV testing and were among the lead contributors in the design of the UNAIDS 909090 initiative.
Martina Brostrom is one of the figures of the metoo movement in the UN. As a passionate advocate for equal rights she has courageously shed light on sexual abuse, sexism and gender inequality prevailing in the UN system, especially in UNAIDS. Her fight inspires the policy reforms of sexual harassment undergoing in the UN system.
